How to Be Healthy
Health refers to a state of complete physical, mental, emotional and social well-being in which diseases are absent and not merely being free from illness but being healthy in physically, mentally and socially, as well. It has been said: ‘If you lost your health, you have lost a part of your life.’ However, your real wealth is your health. Focusing on your health situations is responsible for you to live healthful life.
Better health is significant for living a happier life and having self-confidence; you have to take care your health completely as much as you can. Likewise, health is important for your self-esteem and self-identity which you have on yourself. Think about a time that you had a disease when someone comes to you and asked after you. You know what you responded: ‘ I am not feeling well.’ So as you see also lack of health makes you have a poor self-esteem and lack of confidence. The more you are healthy, the best you have confidence and happiness.
Furthermore, health needs to be protected from every damage which can turn you to feel sick. In fact, preserving your health requires a lot to do, particularly, physical activities which play a central role for maintaining your health. Significantly, good health can reduce your risk of developing certain conditions. These include heart diseases, heart attack; mental diseases, mood disorders, and physical diseases, injuries. There are many ways to keep your health in every single aspect:
Eat healthy
What you eat is closely related and linked to your health. It has been said that you are what you eat. So you need a balanced nutrition to make sure you are healthy, and it has many benefits like healthy skin and healthy brain. When you make healthier food choices, you can prevent or treat some conditions: diabetes, tooth decay, gum disease, heart failure and stroke etc. A healthy diet, which has all the twenty nutrients, can help you lose excess weight; similarly, it lowers your cholesterol. When you have a healthy food, so you should know the best times to consume it. Really, the best time for food is in the morning, at noon and three hours before you sleep at night.
If you eat a food around when you are about to sleep, it may cause many disease like diabetes and long sleeping focusing. Eat healthy food; eat it the most appropriate time.
Get enough sleep
Sleeping is one of the most requirements for good personal health and well being. The amount of sleep you have tells about your whole body health whether in physically, mentally or spiritually and socially. Study suggests that every person has a specific sleeping requirement. Mostly, children need an average sleeping about 13-14 hours per day, adolescents need an average of sleep about 7-8 hours per day and adults need an average of sleeping about 6-7 hours a day. There are more people who are starve of sleep and the result of it; they may get many conditions like insomnia, cardiac diseases and growth disorders.
Sleeping enough can enhance your memory as well as your body development and growth. There are no same, someone who has adequate night's sleep and another one who has not.
Stay hydrated
Essentially, our whole body need water because of 60% of the human adult body is water. Water provides several functions to your body like regulating temperature and maintaining other bodily functions. In order to be healthy, so you should be hydrated by drinking lots of water approximately 9-10 cups daily. As the car needs patrol, you – as a human – need water to work properly. You always lose more water because of our body activities; hence, you need to be rehydrated. Keep drinking water regularly to keep your health thoroughly.
Get regular exercise
Exercise can help you prevent from many diseases and they are hypertension, diabetes, mental illness and heart diseases. It can help treating depression, high blood pressure and Osteoporosis. People who exercise are more active than who do not exercise any. Routine exercise can make you feel better and keep your blood pressure normal. Also it increases your bone density. To be active, there are many exercises to do that we can do like running, playing, walking and other physical activities.
It is good to exercise for 9-minutes per day, or also to exercise for 30-minutes per week. Remember, any amount of exercise is better than none. If you want to live healthy, so you should exercise.
Lose weight if you are overweight
Many people are overweight. Being too much weight increases your risk for several health conditions:
• high blood pressure
• high cholesterol
• type 2 diabetes
• heart disease
• gall bladder disease
• stroke
• some cancers
• obesity and many other conditions.
Keep good company
Being with a company also is a part of health, particularly social health. But you should be a company with a good one in order to have a healthy relationship. Bad company can mislead you and destroy your health as well as your whole life because of it is wicked activities. The more you have a personal relationships with a person with an un-healthy habits, the more it is difficult to be healthy. Join with a good company to live a happy and healthy life. Be aware to be in touch with bad ones even if you are more educated and self-aware because you are a product of your environment.
So stay away from them and prefer to your healthy ones.
Reduce salt and sugar intake
Adding more salt in your diet may cause a risk of high blood pressure, and it reduces the ability of your kidney to get rid excess water from the body and this leads to some types of kidney stones. Not only that but also it increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases. There are different ways to reduce salt in your diet:
• When shopping, you can take products with low sodium.
• When eating, it helps not to have salt at the table, also not to add salt before you tasting it.
• When cooking, you can determine how much to add the meal.
Adding more sugar may also cause some conditions like diabetes and some types of kidney stones as well. To reduce adding sugar into your food or eating sugary food, you can also eat fruits which have a moderated amount of sugar.
Prioritize your life
Healthy is not only the body but also how you prioritize your life from the most important tasks to less ones. What about when you start your day with doing random activities that you did not plan, so what you feel? It is not credible to do them well. When you prioritize one by one from the top to the down, you feel good and for this result you have got a healthy brain with also a healthy body.
Keep your health, but do not think that health or anything else lasts longer. However, for you what to do is to endeavour how to protect your well being. Health is invaluable and can not be bought by a money or anything else. Once you lose, you lose it partially or completely. Strive on everything that regulates your health as well as listening advices from experts to perceive more about your health and it is maintenance.
